Weekly/fortnightly employees are charged the same as monthly, i.e. not per payslip, but just for the month.
Inactive employees are not charged for, i.e. if someone's service is ended in March, you will not be billed for that employee from April onwards, even though we keep the data of this employee around indefinitely.
The Card is a debit/ATM card and not a credit card or charge card.
NO FICA Requirements.
Use of Card:

This Card is for electronic use only.

The Card can be used at participating ATMs or Point of Sale Terminals.

The value of any transaction will be deducted instantly from the credit balance on the Card upon authorisation and the Card can be used up to the amount available on the Card, subject to Card Limits. If funds are insufficient, the transaction will be declined.

The Card can only be loaded or reloaded by Domestic Pay
Applying and activating the Card:

Domestic Pay will provide the Card to the Card Bearer in its sole discretion.

Upon receipt of the Card, the Card Bearer must sign the “Signature Strip” on the back of the Card for it to be valid.
Loading the Card
Domestic Pay reserves the right to alter, load or reload the Card from time to time.
Cancellation and Validity of the Card:

Domestic Pay (we) have the right to cancel the Card at any time at our sole discretion.

The Card will have an expiry date on it when issued.

When an employee loses a card, we can transfer the balance to a new card.
Card Bearer Liability:
We may restrict or refuse to authorise any use of the Card in any legal jurisdiction if using the Card is causing or could cause a breach of any law or if we suspect criminal or fraudulent use of the Card.
Liability:
We are not liable if a Merchant refuses to accept the Card. We are not liable for any loss or damages that the Card Bearer may suffer from the Card Bearer's inability to use the Card.
Fees and Interest:

The Card Bearer must be informed and understand the fee structure of the Card.

The Card is RAND denominated.

No interest will accrue on any funds available on the Card.
Card limits:
The Card has a reload limit of R25,000 per month, a maximum balance limit of R25,000 per month and a daily debit/usage limit of R5,000.
Disputes and Suspected Fraud:

It is the Card Bearer's responsibility to resolve a dispute with a Merchant before contacting us.

We are not responsible for the quality, safety or quantity of the goods or services purchased through a Merchant

PROCESS SUMMARY
Card should be paid for in full prior to being issued.
Order period of 5 working days is advisable.
Before initial payment, all names, ID numbers and mobile phone numbers to be supplied to Domestic Pay
In case not all have cell numbers, we require dedicated cell number from employer, who will receive each purchase confirmation. It is however also required to send replacement PIN numbers to, in need.
Breakdown of salaries to be provided 24 hours prior to payment date.
Salary payment, plus fees per payment to reflect in Domestic Pay’s bank account 24 hours prior to salary payment.
Upon confirmation from employer salaries will be released – so if all employees must only see their money once they have finished work for the day, it could be set to release at a specific time.
The Card is a full bank debit/ATM card supported by Access Bank. The Card is provided by Smard Solutions, who operates under contract from supplier. The Card always remains the property of the supplier.
It operates the same as any bank card, so normal FICA requirements would apply.
